"Hey guys." You say as you walks over to them tray in hand.
"Yo whats up?" Josh says back as he sat down.
"Not much, I'm excited for this weekend. Heard there was some kinda circus coming into town and I wanted to check that out." You say as you take a bite out of the burger in front of you.
"That was this weekend?" Katie says as she finishes chewing. "Thought it wasnt for another week."
"Nah, its this Friday. Do you guys want to check it out?"
"I'd be down." Katie says.
"You know how my parents are, I'll have to see but I'm doubtful." Josh says, annoyed at his parent's strict rules.
"Which reminds me, do you guys want to head to the arcade after school, heard they got a few games in and I know Richard is into the retro shit." Katie says with a smug grin.
"Hey!" You say back defensively. You then sigh and nod. "Yeah I'm down to go." The two of you turn to look at Josh who just shakes his head.
"Can't gotta babysit tonight, parents are out of town and won't be back till late, and they are too cheap for a sitter." Josh says lamenting his parents.
"Well I guess its just us Rich." Katie says with a big smile.
"Yeah, i'll beat you in whatever new games there are."
"You're on."
"Now now, lovebirds don't get too excited while uncle josh isn't there to chaperone you." Josh says with a laugh. You immediately laugh as well but Katie just looks off to the side blushing a bit.
"Well anyway. I'll see you after school then!" Katie says with a mischievous grin to Rich.
