Within Lena's lab, there was a jar filled with water. But it was no normal water. It was nano bots at a microscopic level.
A year ago, Lena Luthor tried to create a nano particles in liquid form that sustain itself for purposes that is Lena Luthor's eyes only but the nano particles became too self-aware. It started to think for itself, having thoughts, feelings and desires. It had a mind of it's own.
Realising she could not control them, Lena safely locked it away in a container that like look a jar to make it look less suspicious as to not make herself look like she was working on anything unethical.
At first glance, it was just a normal jar filled with water.
Originally Lena had planned to destroy the nano as it was too dangerous to kept around but alot has happen in the year since her self working nano project that she all but forgot about it.
Here we are today, the nano (possibly the most dangerous self aware AI technology on the planet) trapped in the jar in water form.
