Turning around you could see a girl sprinting towards you, waving her hand with a large smile on her face. Judging from the blue hair, and the very pretty face. Many people would assume this was Dawn! Dawn was pretty popular in the school. However looking at her outfit, you can spot some scuffs of dirt on it. Also instead of a Beanie, it was a white cloth wrapped in her hair.
“Hey, Akari.” You wave back. It was Akari, Dawn’s cousin! Although one could easily guess twin sister!
She was from the Countryside, her family wanted her to get a proper education. She came back around a month ago, and despite Dawn trying to get her friendly with Dawn’s friends, it just didn’t work. She didn’t really bond with any of them. She doesn’t like fashion like Fantina, she doesn’t like fighting like Maylene. She doesn’t like gardening like Gardenia. She doesn’t like Zoey...
And then came you, also an outsider. The two of you actually got along great, and well... she’s your best friend.
“Running late?” You ask her.
“Yeah, Dawn woke up with a bad heap of hair, and she spent so long straightening it.” Akari smiled to you.
“Y-You telling me you don’t have that problem. You two pretty much have the same hair.” You say to Akari.
“No, my hair stays down in the morning. I guess it’s the Country Air that does it.” She said to you. The girl got right close to you, and wrapped her arm around you.
She brought her body against yours, as you could feel it against you.
“N-Not this again...” You say with a giant blush, as her breast pushed into your back. “Akari, let go?”
“Why?” She asked you. “You don’t like walking like this?”
“B-Because it’s what couples do.” You say to her, fighting your arm free as you walk in. Akari walked by your side.
“I do this with the children back in my town all the time. They always got lost in the dark so I helped them back.”
“W-Well the kids might like doing it but not me, so please don’t?” You ask her. She seemed to at least care about that as the two of you walked.
“I got History first up,” Akari said. “I’m excited.” Despite the two being good friends. You two don’t actually have any lessons together. All of her lessons were with her cousin. Let’s just say Dawn wasn’t happy that Akari was acing all of them.
“I got a free lesson.”
“A-Are you gonna do that thing I taught you?” She asked you with an excited expression. A cute... excited expression.
No! Don’t think of her like that! She doesn’t think of you like that, so don’t think the opposite.
“What... thing?” You ask up to her.
“Crafting! I showed you how to grind flowers and stuff into little medicine.” Akari giggled. “You could-”
“If I get hurt, I’ll go to a hospital.” You chuckled at Akari. She pouted, but she couldn’t force it on you.
The two of you walk a bit more until your eyes went wide.
“This way!” You say grabbing Akari. She got pulled as the two of you walked.
“My class is that way?”
“Arezu is also that way.” You say as the two of you wait for her to pass.
“But I like Arezu.”
“She’s been trying to get me to try a new haircut, by her. Let’s just say I don’t feel like it.” You got along great with Arezu, but the second she mentions that, get out fast. You have a feeling you can’t say no.
“Hello.” Akari said as you perked up. Turning around to see Mai standing there.
“What are you two doing?”
“Hiding from Arezu.” Akari said. She has a habit of... not getting stuff. She’s from the Country, normal city life is a bit lost on her.
Thankfully Mai understood it completely. She didn’t even give out an argument. “I’ll tell her I spotted you the other way.”
“T-Thank you so much Mai! You are the best.” Mai was truly great. Always kind, always helpful, always smart. She walked out and talked to Arezu. Both of them leave as you walk out with Akari.
“Isn’t it rude to avoid someone like that, or is it different in the city.”
“N-No it’s the same.” You say admitting your fault. She looked at you, before questioning.
“Have you ever gone and avoided me like that?”
“N-No. Never to you, I love spending time with you I...” You see your words. “I... like spending time with you.”
Will she catch on? “Thank you!” She smiled. “I love spending time with you as well!” Akari gave you a beautiful smile. One that made your heart flutter with how pretty it was.
“Now, I got to go to class. I’ll see you once it is over!” Akari said.
“Wait... I never asked, why are you covered in dirt?” You say to her.
She looked over her body and chuckled. “I-It’s a bit of an embarrassing story. I was so bored waiting for Dawn, i found this little bug in the backyard. I wanted to learn more about it, so I followed it around. Crawling actually.”
“That sounds just like you.” You chuckle at her. “Okay, see you later Akari.”
“I will be seeing you later!” Of course, she said it like that. She starts to walk away from you, as you were left thinking what to do in your spare time? You don’t really have many friends, but you do have a couple. You could go ahead and hang with Irida. Her lesson is free. You could see what Mai was doing? Or maybe you could go ahead and do what Akari recommended. Grind some stuff together and craft it! You never know what you’ll make. Maybe you’ll make a cure to some deadly disease!
