This choice: Skip to later that night, where you meet the 'Ghost girl' • Go Back... -Later that night-
Geez, it was really pouring down a storm. In your little shed on the outskirts of the academy, you look out your window to see so much rain. Geez, what a terrible night. You were pretty sure it wasn’t gonna be this bad, but... hey.
So bad that honestly there was lightning and thunder as well. Pouring down. Now you have a wooden shed, so you didn’t have to worry about lighting.
On the opposite fact though, there was a lot of rain and your shed has some holes. You have placed buckets all around to all the holes.
Your lights flickered on and off as you frown. You need power. You don’t want to have to stumble around your home in the dark. Plus... it would be a very boring night.
Heavy wind came and blew your door wide open. “Damn it! I bet the girls don’t have to deal with this stuff.” You say as you run over and push the door against the wind. You planned on locking it, but the heavy wind broke the lock. Geez, great.
You get angry, looking around for something to place on the side of the door holding it close. You grab a brick that you have used for other reasons like this and place it on the door.
But... while doing this, you manage to glance your way through the door. Glancing your way into the rain to see... a little girl.
She’s young, like... too young to go to this school. She had large purple hair and a purple dress. Hard to make out more details.
Still... what was this girl doing. She was just standing out there, not even bothered?
“Ghost Girl?” Well whether it was or not, you can’t just let this happen. “Hey, come in here!” You shout but... she didn’t hear.
Being responsible you sprint your way out into the rain. Running across the grounds until you arrive near her. She turned her head to see you as you walked up.
“You are getting drenched, come with me.” You say. Before you could even offer her your hand, she grabbed onto it. Looking up with your with the cutest smile. Geez, she was so cute.
You led her back into your place as she walked in. She was covered with rain, but you could a bit more detail. Her dress, it was tattered and stitched. Honestly it looked odd on her. Her shoes were very much the same, like the poor side.
“L-Let me get you a towel.” You say back to her as she stepped out of her shoes going barefoot. You came with your only towel. It was your only one but you don’t think she would mind.
“Here you go.” You say giving it to her.
“Thank you Mister!” She said as she took the towel and happily dried herself around. You were a bit wet yourself, but nothing compared to her.
“I don’t think i’m old enough to be considered mister. Who are you? Where are your parents?”
She didn’t answer this, as she just cleaned herself happily. A cat like smile on her face.
“Well, can you tell me your name?”
“Acerola!” She said happily to you. That was... an odd name.
Should you call the principal. Well you can’t tonight, since the reception out at this place was terrible. Instead you just have to keep her hear in your place.
“You can stay here. My name is (Your Name).”
“Thank you mister!” Guess she was calling you that.
You can’t help but think... ‘Ghost Girl’. There is no way that’s true though.
“A-Are you the Ghost Girl?” You wonder to Acerola, having to ask.
“Yep!” She smiled, showing off her white teeth, That was obviously not something that you expected.
“You are? Wait... are you dead?”
“I dunno.” She shrugged. You were worried but... just treat her like a normal little girl.
“Hey Acerola, do you want some hot chocolate to heat y-”
“Yes Please Mister!” She said as you chuckle to her cuteness. You go ahead and move onto your feet as you make it for her.
She said she was the Ghost Girl, and you are starting to believe her. Still, it was nothing that big.
“Your house isn’t very good.” She said looking around at the leaks.
“Yeah well... hardly call it a home.” You chuckle back to her. “Here’s your Hot Coco.”
“Thank you!” She said as at least she had manners. She took a sip and. “It burned my tongue!”
You chuckle at the kid and lean it. “It seems fine. Here, let me cool it for you.” Taking the mug from her, you start blowing on it. Acerola smiling.
“You are so kind!” Honestly the fact she was a cute little kid. You weren’t heartless enough.
“Okay, here you go.” You say handing it back. She smiled as she took a sip and smiled.
“So warm!”
You pat her head as you stand up, calming yourself down. She drank the Hot Coco, and as soon as she finished it she jumped into your bed.
“H-Hey, you dress is still we...” You stopped running over to her and feeling the dress. It didn’t look wet, and it wasn’t. “How... you were in the rain?”
“I dunno.” She shrugged. Before laying down onto your bed. “It’s so warm, I wanna sleep here~”
Oh, this could be dangerous. At the same moment though. She’s too cute to deny. “You can sleep there.”
“Really? Thank you! Thank you Mister!”
“For tonight.” You laugh at her. “tomorrow, we are gonna see the principal.”
“Nope!” She smiled but laid down. You thought it was just the kid in her, but no... it was her choice, and she had control.
You slept on the couch so the kid could take the bed.
Sleeping there enjoying yourself, but when you woke up that would change.
And you believe she was truly the ghost girl, cause of what you woke up too! indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
