It was the first night of his parents' vacation and, with his his cousin's permission, David invited two of his friends over for the night. Todd and Hudson were just like David in nature and in their crush for David's cousin Lana. Todd's father was the county agent, and Hudson's parents had moved from Metropolis and owned/operated the local hardware store. Todd was red haired and green eyed, while Hudson had brown eyes and dark hair. Like David, Todd and Hudson had year round farmer tans. All three boys were well liked, good dispositions but were fairly shy around girls.
The story starts off with the three boys upstairs playing video and board games in David's bedroom, while Lana is downstairs in the family room reading.
