2) Simon, Kamina, and Yoko discover a cache of ancient spiral tech of unimaginable power.
Among the artifacts they had discovered was a device that could be programmed to produce any and every conceivable kind of drug and biochemical substance imaginable and unimaginable using nothing more than voice commands. This led the group to decide to have the machine produce combat stims that had the power transform any who imbibe and/or inject them into veritable Demigods of strength and endurance.
3) We take a look at one of the many worlds of the multidimensional labyrinth to see a world where Simon is a professional body builder training diligently for the next Mr. Olympia contest.
4) An alternate universe where at the end of the Spiral/Anti-Spiral wars, instead of retreating to their homeworlds to live meager subterranean lives under Anti-Spiral oppression, the various Spiral races, in lieu of being able to strike the Anti-Spiral homeworld, decided to turn all of their still existing territories and assets into veritable fortresses and bunkered down for an extensive defensive war, leveraging their Spiral power in order to evolve themselves and their societies in ways that would allow them to weather the storms ahead.
Humanity in this universe have encapsulated every star system under their control in multilayered Dyson spheres protected by their vast fleets and armies and nigh infinite arrays of unbelievably powerful defense systems. Their Society has become a heavily militarized stratocracy and operates from a multigenerational form of siege mentality.
The soldiers enlisted from either national pride and Social indoctrination, Penal mandates, or incredibly strict drafting laws are subjected to extensive mandatory Surgical, Biochemical, physiological, and cybernetic augmentation and super charged Gene therapy and are implanted with a multitude of artificial organs to enhance their abilities even further. Each soldier is bonded with a living weapon system known as a "Core frame", An endlessly adaptable suit of power armour made out of a living metal compromised of a Spiral empowered form of computronium with the ability to fabricate any form of armament and equipment that the wearer could ever want or need, designed as a natural evolution from core mechs.
The end result of this process is an army of nigh indestructible hulking heavily armed and armored warrior demigods that utterly tower over the common man, the smallest amongst them being no shorter then five meters in height( sixteen feet tall).
Simon is a new conscript, drafted from some backwater mining colony after winning( or losing depending on how you look at it) a state mandated lottery.
After inevitably being put through the most grueling and taxing training regiment imaginable and tested to his very limits along with being physically remade into a super soldier, Simon will be sent out on the front lines of a war to ensure the survival of his species.
There he will fight alongside his fellow conscripts as well as vast supplemental beastman clone armies and encounter faces both familiar and new and embark on a journey that will determine the ultimate fate of the universe.
