“Oh, what a wonderful day to study!” Luz cheered to herself as she entered the cafeteria, happy to experience another day in magic school. She hadn’t been at the school for long, but she had already experienced so many new and awesome things. Sure, some of them were terrifying, but that was the price for adventure. Though she should have paid more attention to her food as she was walking, otherwise Luz might have noticed the faint sparkling of her PB&J sandwich as she sat down and bit into it, before everything went black.
“Ugh, why does my head hurt?” Luz muttered as she opened her eyes, wondering what had happened as she looked around before her mouth fell open as she took in the sight. She was surrounded on all sides by piles of food and she didn’t have to share it. Was this Heaven?
She decided not to think about it before jumping into the side of a PB&J sandwich that was as big as a house, not paying any mind to the chunk that was missing as she dug in. In a matter of minutes, she was full and content, happy to lay near the warm, scrambled eggs nearby as she rested. It was then that the ground began to shake, and she looked around frantically to see what could be causing an earthquake in her fantasy world of giant food when two familiar giants appeared above him. She hadn’t wound up in a mysterious world of massive food at all, she had been shrunken down in her lunch…
“I thought Luz was going to save our usual table for us, but I don’t see her anywhere,” Willow said as she looked around, wondering where her best friend could be.
“I’m sure she just saw some new version of magic she had never seen before and wanted to check it out,” Amity said with a small smile, finding the antics of the human to be very adorable, because it was unique. Definitely not for other reasons. “She even left some of her food here, so she’ll definitely be back soon.”
With that, both girls took a seat and began to dig in, not taking any notice of said human crawling off of her food tray and onto the table to get some help.
What shall fate have in store for our tiny witch-in-training?
1. Luz’s cries and jumping attract the eyes of both Willow and Amity, who quickly find themselves dumbfounded by their friend's tiny form. They both agree to look after Luz and try to figure out what had happened to her, but neither was well-versed in size-changing magic. It looked like they would need to experiment a bit to figure out how it worked…
2. Luz rushed over to Willow, hoping that her best friend would immediately recognize her and help her out. Luckily, the giant gardening witch was quick to spot the speck moving toward her. Unluckily, she mistook said for a bug and wasted no time in knocking it to the floor. Luz needs to be quick if she doesn’t want to be crushed underfoot.
3. Luz rushed over to Amity, hoping that the genius witch would take notice of her and figure out exactly what happened to her. Surprisingly, the green-haired witch was quick to spot her shrunken form and discreetly pinched her between a pair of fingers. Though the much bigger girl was far more focused on how the already adorable human was now even more adorable, and she could keep her with her at all times! Now if only she knew where she could keep Luz, for her safety, of course.
4. Luz rushed over to one of her towering friends, climbing over a spoon to get to them, when one of their hands fell on the other end from hers, launching her into the air with a cry. Where will Luz end up landing from her short flight?
