"Congratulations on getting the lead role Tori, even though it's obvious that I'm the superior actress," Jade announced as she and Cat walked behind the stage.
"Thanks, I guess," Tori replied, not sure how to respond to such a backhanded compliment. "I guess Sikowitz liked my addition." she continued, feeling pride in her improvement as an actress. Despite her vanity, however, Tori had no idea how she could play the role of a shrinking woman when she stood almost half a foot taller than one of her Co-Stars, Cat Valentine.
Luckily, Jade had come up with the perfect solution to this problem without anyone asking her, taking it upon herself to ensure that Tori would fit the description of her character perfectly. But to do that, Tori would need to become a little smaller before they started the show, turning her attention to the box Cat kept held tightly against her chest.
Tori noticed the glint of malicious intent behind Jade's emerald eyes, noticing the package in Cat's embrace. Caught off guard as she saw the Sky Store logo embroidered on the box.
"Cat, we told you that you couldn't buy any more stuff from that place." Tori began scolding, remembering the weeks of therapy and interventions it took to get the red-haired girl to stop her spending habits the last time.
"But I didn't buy this one! Jade did." Cat paused, giggling as she looked down at the box. Tori knew something was up as Jade walked around Tori and back towards Cat, making sure her school rival was mic'd up and ready for the show before giving Cat the signal to proceed.
"What did you do?" Tori asked, concerned as she turned her undivided attention towards Jade, not realizing that Cat proposed a significantly greater threat for the time being.
"Whatever do you mean?" Jade smiled in her southern drawl, making fun of the way Tori spoke. Even if she never did talk that way, she knew it was bound to keep Tori distracted.
"I don't talk like that!" Tori yelled back at Jade, noticing movement out the corner of her eye as she turned to face Cat, who was holding some strange sci-fi-looking ray gun, pointed straight towards Tori's chest.
"Um, what is that?" Tori asked, not liking the sinister grin on her rival's lips, as she took a safe position behind Cat.
"Oh, this? It's the Sky Store patented shrink ray!" Cat yelled out with excitement, instilling Tori with sudden fear and the desire to run away. However, she could get her body to move an inch. The thought that one wrong move could shock Cat into pulling the trigger paralyzed Tori. Her ditzy red-haired friend essentially had the power to turn her into a bug and not enough common sense to see the problem with that from Tori's point of view.
"Cat, please. Just put that down." Tori said, nervously trying to reason with Cat. But her situation was hopeless. Cat's addiction to Sky Store's catalog has been suppressed for months, with no release until Jade offered to buy her this device for her nefarious purposes.
"Don't be scared, Tori. I promise this will be fun." Cat smiled, and while Jade agreed with her statement, Tori most definitely did not as a strobing green light suddenly shot out from the device, reducing her body in stature.
Tori put her hands up as a reflex, but it didn't do her any good as she watched Cat and Jade grow in size at an alarming rate through her open fingers. She realized she was the one shrinking, but from her perspective, the entire world grew around her, and before long, the two girls she stood at eye level became skyscraper-sized humans.
Cat, who was previously 5 inches shorter than Tori, was now unrecognizable, but that wasn't the part that sent a shiver down her spine. The cold smile spread across Jade's lips took care of that as she looked down at her now bug-sized classmate.
"Well, well, where ever did Tori go, Cat?" Jade teased, strolling around Cat's body. The power of her casual footsteps sending out shockwaves made Tori feel weak in her knees. Her spit pooled in the back of her mouth, forced to swallow when Jade turned her attention downwards.
"Oh, would you look at that Cat? A poor little ant made her way backstage." Jade teased, lifting her boot-clad foot above Tori. "It would be a real shame if somebody squished it." making sure the tiny girl had just enough time to examine every thread before stomping down hard only a few inches away from her face.
*BOOM*
Jade was a force of nature. The power of her stomp was like an explosion for someone Tori's size, standing at only an inch tall. It was powerful, more than any Earthquake she ever felt while growing up in L.A, combined with Hurricane-force winds nearly blowing her body backward.
"There's an ant in here?" Cat asked, not catching on to Jade's taunt. The only tiny thing she saw was Tori, and unfortunately for her, Cat found her friend's new size to be adorable. "Oh my god, Tori, you're so cute now!" Cat's voice boomed, each word punctuated by the sound of her stomping sneaker-clad skin screeching across the floor as she quickly ran around Tori, cutting off any escape route she might have had.
"What do you mean now?" Tori yelled as if she weren't cute before being shrunk. Even as Cat crotched down to pick Tori up, she still had to crane her neck to look up at the giant girl, unable to believe that she was this small now. Cat laid out her palm, and Tori climbed on, doing anything in her power to get away from Jade's feet.
Cat brought Tori to level with her chest, surprising her tiny friend with a view of her ample breasts, with each being the size of a truck. Tori was alarmed by this fact because she knew that Cat's boobs were only an B-cup from making costumes in class.
She looked down at her chest, reminded that she and Cat shared a cup size, 34B. If Cat's boobs were the size of two SUV's then how massive would Jade's be by comparison? Already feeling inadequate compared to Cat, she slowly turned around to peak at Jade's breasts, falling on her butt in the middle of Cat's palm at the sight of them. If Cat's were the size of Trucks, then Jade's were twin houses.
Jade took note of Tori looking at her chest, taking this opportunity to talk down to the tiny girl even more. "Hey, my eyes are up here!" Jade called, redirecting Tori's attention to her giant blue eyes. She was used to using that line on guys but very rarely had she gotten to say it to another woman.
She figured Tori was intimidated by the size of her breasts, but the mean girl couldn't fault her for that now that she was so tiny compared to them. If she wanted to, Jade could wrap Tori up between her breasts and squeeze her until she suffocated to death.
"Listen to me closely, you little bug." Jade said, snapping Tori out of her trance, "You embarrass me out there, and I'll make your life a living hell at this size. Are we clear?" Jade continue, threatening Tori as she brought her face close to Cat's palm to examine her. Of course, she didn't mention anything about returning Tori to her former size if all went as planned for the play, but she remained hopeful that it was an option.
