Harley Quinn had taken her break-up with the Joker hard. She had truly loved him but she wasn't sure if he ever loved her after he broke up with her without as so much as a laugh. She needed to distract herself and soothe the pain. She needed something to sooth her pain and help her cope. She knew just the thing, she needed to get drunk and indulge in some good comfort food. She headed to one of her favorite clubs which was run by none other than Roman Sionis. She knew he didn't like her but he at least tolerated her and he had one of the best clubs in Gotham
As soon as she had arrived, Harley had hit up the bar, and started off with a shot and a strawberry daquiri. As she was getting her drink on, she had watched Dinah Lance perform a couple of songs. The last one was a song called 'It's a Man's World'. The sad truth of that song had rung true for Harley.
She had ordered another shot and downed it when she noticed that Dinah had joined her at the bar. "Hey! I enjoyed your performance. Boys suck right?" she said with a soft laugh and a sad smile before ordering another drink.
"They do but sometimes you just have to deal with them" Dinah said before taking a sip of her beer. "At least you have a man that gives you protection" she added. No matter what her feelings about the Joker were, she knew that he was protective of his Harley.
"Puddin and I broke up" Harley said after a moment. Suddenly, it felt that much more real. "Another strawberry daquiri" the blonde said to the bartender. As soon as the bartender slide it over to her, she was drinking it down.
Watching the way Harley was drinking made Dinah a little concerned. If she got drunk enough, she could be less helpless against some of the club's more seedy occupants.
"You know what helps me when I am trying to get over a breakup?" Dinah asked. "No, what?" Harley asked. "Indulging in some comfort food. How about I treat you to some tacos? I know of a good place not that far from here" Dinah said with a smile.
