It was another typical day at high school science class. Olivia, the girl I sit next to, is asleep as always. It'll take an hour of school for her to wake up. Everyone else enters the room, chit-chatting away, except for Anna because she appears to be absent. Her chair has a number "4" scratched into it for some reason.
All I did was stare at Olivia before class starts.
She wears a black MTV T-shirt. Her jeans are torn up. She has long, black hair, and pale-beige skin. She's resting on her arms, her face facing me. Even with that rebellious look she has, she's a beauty to look at. Also, she always wears too much perfume.
The bell rang, and Mr. Kintobotnik walks into the room.
Class has officially begun.
"Okay, class," Mr. Kintobotnik told us. "Today, we're going on a field trip!"
A third of the class moaned, the other third were excited, one sixth were very tired, and the other sixth were asleep. The last sixth included Olivia, Jessie, and Brooke; for some reason, that sixth is all girls. As for me, I was slightly excited. Where exactly are we going? Since this is science class, my guess is we're going to the Carnegie Science Center.
"Why, we're going inside the human body!" said Mr. Kintobotnik.
Just like that, I was excited as ever while the other students seemed confused. I'm obsessed with the human body, and I can't wait to see what the trip is like.
Mr. Kintobotnik explained to us that if we're gonna explore the human body, one of the students will have to miss the field trip and be the host. He said that the host will be one of the sleepers because since they're lazy, they miss out on all the fun. The field trip will also be live streamed, so they'll have to watch that when the field trip's over.
