Belldandy was holding Keiichi's hand as both were traveling through a rainbow tunnel.
"So... My first mission, officially helping out heaven..." Keiichi muttered to himself. "Feels exciting and dangerous."
"The world we'll be heading in is a safe one, as any death merely sends you back to the castle we'll be arriving in. The same thing occurs to the people we'll be fighting," Belldandy explained.
"Wait, doesn't that mean we're entering an eternal stalemate?" Keiichi asked.
"Yes, it does," Belldandy said before they landed on a star-shaped platform.
Greeting them was a red-haired woman who wore black clothes that barely covered her pale skin. She said, "Welcome to Video Game Land. I am Midna, The Princess of the Twilight realm of Video Game :and."
Keiichi and Belldandy both bowed a little. He said, "I am Keiichi Morisato and this is Belldandy."
"As requested, we're here to help," Belldandy said.
"Good. We have some allies to help us. Most of the heroes are defending their own realms, so they can't all help us all the time," Midna said as she led Keiichi and Belldandy. "They're in the Castle's living room. Do you have any combat skills?"
"You name it and I have the license for it," Belldand proudly said.
"I... don't," Keiichi nervous muttered.
Midna sighed, "We'll check with the Ultimate Warp. Perhaps it'll grant you a Zapper and a controller to boost your abilities."
On the way to the chamber, the trio met up with two more people. One was a human woman who clearly was a fighter and the other was a robotic mermaid.
The human was dressed in a blue qipao, had her hair tied into two buns, and had muscular thighs.
The robot mermaid's metal skin was various shades of blue, though her face was peach-colored.. Her shoulder pads were clam shells, her tail-fin looked like it could be used as a harp of shorts, and she had on a blue helmet that had a little water wave design over her left eye and a gem that looked more like a spotlight. Her hands and forearms were in white gloves.
After Midna explained who Keiichi and Belldandy were, the human fighter said, "Hi! I am Chun-Li! In my home world, I am a police Officer for INTERPOL, but I was selected to represent my world and to help out Video Game Land. If you ever need a lesson or two in self-defense, I'm always happy to give one."
The robot said, "And I am Splash Woman, a Robot Master. I originally was a search-and-rescue robot for water areas. I like to sing Karaoke, but I don't like to sing in front of large crowds. "
Belldandy's eyes sparkled. She held Splash Woman's hands and said, "I like to sing as well! We'll be singing buddies!"
Splash Woman smiled back and nodded.
"So... who else is part of the team?" Keiichi asked Chun-Li as he shook her hand.
"Rouge the Bat and Tawna Bandicoot. Rouge joined us to... acquire gems of various worlds, but promised to be a team player. Tawna ... Well, a villain found a way to kill her friends and continually escapes Tawna's wrath So Tawna joined us to get some help, "Chun-Li answered.
When the group passed by a doorway, Midna looked in and said, "Hey. We got new recruits!"
Keiichi and Belldandy looked in and saw that the room was a library that had two people in it.
Rouge the bat was an anthropomorphic bat with white fur and stood at 105 cm. She wore a dark purple unitard with a heart-shaped breastplate. She had white gloves and boots with a heart motif. She currently was reading a magazine.
The other was a tall female bandicoot named Tawna. She wore blue jeans, a pink shirt, a blue bandana around her neck, a brown
jacket, and brown fingerless gloves. Her hair was a multicolored mohawk. She had been looking through the bookshelves, but when she saw Keiichi, she thought, 'He... He's from Japan! The land where my anime is from! Keep cool, Tawna. You can do this. You can-"
"So... wanna come with us to see what the Ultimate warp zone has to say about these two? The guys is Keiichi Morisato and the woman is Belldandy," Midna asked.
"Yes! Let's go see the Power Glove! Yatta!" Tawna said. She blushed and hunched over, muttering, "Sorry. Got a little excited."
"Might as well. Things have been slow for both Club Rouge and my treasure hunting," Rouge said, putting away the magazine.
