Peter landed on the roof of Pym Tech before climbing inside. It was late, so none of the normal employees should still be here. At least, that’s what Hank and Janet said when they asked him to help with an experiment.
“Peter, I’m glad you could make it,” Janet Van Dyne smiles as Peter enters the testing chamber. “You can take your mask. There’s no one here who might discover your secret identity.”
“I’d rather not risk a janitor seeing me,” Peter reasons as he surveys the room. It looked like a standard laboratory, aside from the strange machine in the middle of the room. “So, is this why you needed me?”
“Yep, Hank and I have been experimenting with Pym Particles to travel between two points on Earth,” Janet explains as Peter’s eyes widen. “It involves shrinking the item down to pass through dimensional barriers with incredible speed.”
“That’s amazing,” Peter praised the two scientists. Then he realized something. “You want to use me as the first human test subject, don’t you?”
“Relax, Parker,” Hank said dismissively. “Every item we’ve sent through has come back out perfectly fine. Even if there were a few glitches at first.”
“Glitches?” Peter asked nervously.
“Don’t worry, we already fixed the machine,” Janet says as she tries to reassure Peter. “We wouldn’t put you into something that could put you in danger. Just one small test and we can call the experiment a complete success, okay.”
Peter scratched the back of his head at Janet’s pleading look, “Okay, as long as I’m safe.”
“Don’t worry, Peter,” Janet says as she leads him to the machine. “Just stand right here so we can get started.”
“How much will this hurt?” Peter asked jokingly as he stood on a platform.
“It should be a slight tingle,” Hank says with a roll of his eyes. He then presses a button, activating the machine.
What happens to Peter?
1. Peter is transported to the other machine, but he’s still tiny. Hopefully, Hank or Janet will notice him when they check the room.
2. Peter is shrunken down on the platform, but that’s all that happened. Luckily Hank and Janet noticed him, but they don’t seem particularly eager to grow him back. What are they planning?
3. The machine successfully transports Peter, but he appears to be in a darkened room. Where is he?
4. The machine successfully transports Peter, but his surroundings are strange. It takes him only a few moments to realize he's trapped inside of someone, but who is it and where is he?
