Jet wait's there sitting against the wall for Smack to do something else with his paws. They seemed to stop tapping for a while but Jet wasn't going to risk getting squashed under them. So he continues to wait.

After a short while Smack leans back in his seat stretching out his legs and placing his paws right in front of Jet. The stench was palpable due to his size. But with his paws right there... what better time to try and contact him?
