Chapter #5

Meeting Priya

    by: Alistair Author IconMail Icon
You struggled initially to concentrate with the clamour filling the room around you. For a normal sized person the room would have seemed loud, but at your scale the chatter and masses of stomping feet were deafening.
After several minutes of trying to focus on your work and not the sounds around you, you were able to concentrate on your note taking, and felt like you were beginning to make good progress.

As soon as you felt yourself beginning to work at a good pace, a heavy object slammed down in front of your desk, interrupting you and throwing you from your chair with the force of the impact.
You watched as the pad of paper you had just been taking notes on was sent airborne by the foreign object, and was caught in the gust of wind caused by another passing woman, flying off into the distance.

“Damn it!” Sighing in frustration at your lost work, you picked yourself up and dusted yourself off, turning your attention to the cause of the loss of your work.
Now resting mere inches from the desk you were just sitting on was a stack of four books, a variety of legal books that you remembered reading in your last year at university, stretching up like a multi-storey building.

The deafening creak of the leather chair behind the books alerted you to the presence of whoever had just slammed down the books, although they were hidden behind the cliff-like stack from your perspective.
You figured you should probably alert this woman, who you presumed was the intern you were sharing a desk with, of your presence before anything else went wrong.

You lightly jogged around the edge of the books, and after a minute or so reached the corner and peeked around.

Sinking back into the creaking leather chair with a tired sigh, you saw a bronze skinned woman with long black hair framing her regal face. Her emerald eyes were weighted by some fairly sizeable bags under them, the bag under her left eye almost touching the small birthmark that was the only blemish on her otherwise flawless skin.
Her white shirt strained to contain her gargantuan chest underneath her open black suit jacket, each button seemingly holding on for dear life under unimaginable strain, and the top two not even being buttoned up, likely incapable of stretching that far, leaving a few inches of her chasm of cleavage visible. You couldn’t see her lower half as it disappeared from view behind the desk, but based off of the pained groans of the chair beneath her, you guessed she was similarly well endowed down there as well.

Before you could tell to try and cut through the noise and catch her attention, she leaned away from your and began rummaging through her bag, producing a travel coffee cup and taking a large gulp from it, before slamming it down on the table.
You yelped and dived to the side, narrowly avoiding being flattened underneath the cup.

The almost completely unnoticed crushing this woman almost subjected you to reaffirmed in your mind that you needed to get her attention, you weren’t sure how many more times you could narrowly avoid being flattened.

HEY!” You yelled at the top of your lungs, knowing that sometimes women just inexplicably seemed incapable of to picking up on a tiny’s voice, you prepared to yell again, but noticed her eyes go wide and look around for the source of the noise. You began to wave your arms to alert her of your location. “Down here!”

Luckily, your efforts to catch her attention seemed to have succeeded first time for a change, her eyes immediately locked onto you.

“Oh! Hi there!” She smiled warmly. “What are you doing on my desk little guy? Can I help you with anything?”

“No, I don’t need anything! We’re sharing a desk so I just thought that I would let you know I was here,” you pointed back to the stack of books. “You almost accidentally dropped those on my desk.”

The woman leaned forward and peeked over the top of the stack of books. As she leaned forward, you were cast in the shadow of her titanic chest, which strained further against the shirt containing them as they hanged downward from her more and more.

“Oh no, I was so close to flattening your little desk, and probably you as well! I’m so sorry!” While she profusely apologised for almost flattening you, her boobs were getting closer and closer to actually flattening you. With every word and panicked gesture she made, her chest heaved, ending up closer and closer to your minuscule form beneath them.

You knew you had absolutely no way of getting out from underneath her chest, it would take you at least a minute to run out from underneath the shadow of her left boob, and as it smacked into the top of your head, driving you to your knees, you knew you didn’t have that long.

“If we are going to be desk mates from here on out, I promise that I will be extra careful around you!” These last few words caused enough of a heave in her chest for it to completely touch down on the surface of the desk, burying you under the heavy weight of her massive left mammary.

She straightened up and immediately picked up the stack of books, placing them down on the opposite corner of her desk.

“There, much better. I’ll avoid putting anything heavy down on that side of the desk, alright… wait I didn’t ask your name! How rude of me! My name’s Priya, what’s…” she trailed off as she looked back down at where you had been standing on the desk, only to see you completely missing! “…yours? Hey, where’d you go?”

As Priya scanned the surface of the desk, you were flattened face first into the strained white fabric of her shirt, shaking along with her chest.
You silently groaned as your unaware coworker searched for you, completely oblivious to the fact that you were so close to her.

You had finally managed to get your notes back to where you had them before Priya’s introduction.
It hadn’t taken Priya too long to find you, although she had searched basically everywhere except her own body first, all the while you jiggled along with her chest, experiencing what you always expected getting seasick felt like.

When she had found you, she immediately peeled you free and had allowed you time to reform. That had been almost two hours ago and she had apologised to you almost thirty times.

The two of you chatted as you both worked. You learned that she had a ten year old son who she adored, and that she aspired to be a lawyer to make his life better. You also learned that she was having to work part time in retail to pay the bills while she put herself through this internship.
She thought your goals of specialising in tiny law was admirable, and admitted that nothing scared her more than the thought of her son ending up with a usage license some day.

You two continued to chat as the morning dragged on, before a loud gurgle rumbled out from below Priya’s desk.

“I think it might be time for lunch,” a blush reddened her cheeks, clearly embarrassed by the noise emanating from her. “I forgot to bring something with me, so I’ll need to go out and get something. Would you like to join me?”

Priya held out her palm next to you, offering to carry you with her. You glanced at the volume of documents you still had to get through though, and a nagging thought that you really needed to impress Diane crept into your mind. Could you really afford to go out right now and fall behind on your work?

1) You agree to join Priya for lunch, figuring that building camaraderie with your coworkers was just as important to ensuring your future at the firm as getting all of your work done. Plus, Priya seemed nice and you didn’t want to leave her to go for lunch by herself.

2) You decline Priya’s offer deciding that you wanted to get back into Diane’s good books. You are left alone on Priya’s desk.

3) Before you can answer, you are interrupted by something (Writer’s Choice).
