You were distracted by the sudden noise of voices close by.

Looking on instinct, you spied no one but the sounds of someone approaching, no doubt to investigate the disturbance just as you have.

Knowing they'll soon discover what you have, you turned back around only to discover that the odd creature had vanished.

looking left and right, and all around you failed to see where the large alien worm went.

Which was surprising as there was no way you'd imagine a red coloured large alien worm just suddenly disappearing amongst the short grass around you.

You didn't have time to ponder or search for the mysterious creature as soon, someone walked into the clearing and you saw who it was.
