CJ and Carl stood in shock at the person who opened the door. It was their own mother, Frida Puga Casagrande. They knew their mother was very tall, but from their current perspective, she looked as tall as a skyscraper. They looked up and could barely see her face as their mother towered miles above them and realized that there was a good chance that they were in big trouble right now.
"It's mom! And she's huge!" Carl shouted as he looked up at his titanic mother.
"It's okay, Carl. We just have to get her attention. No problem." CJ said.
Frida looked around the room, but was perplexed by the lack of her two sons being nowhere to be found. "Carl? CJ? Where are you two? I thought I heard a noise in here." Frida said. However, her voice sounded much louder to her two shrunken sons on the floor. They had to cover their ears as they couldn't handle the volume of her voice.
"Huh? What's that?" Frida asked and then started walking toward the center of the room where CJ and Carl currently resided. The two of them could feel the ground quake again with every footstep she took. Their worries only increased once they noticed that she was currently walking in their direction.
"She's coming this way! We gotta move, CJ before we get squashed!" Carl tried to run away but CJ caught him by the shirt before he could.
"No Carl! We've gotta get mom to see us! Come on!" CJ and Carl then started calling out to their giant mother while waving their arms for her to see. They tried as much as they could but Frida was still coming right for them. Carl was growing worried as he could see his mom's gigantic shoes stomp on the ground with such force. He didn't want to be right under them when they came down. But much to their relief, Frida came to a sudden stop, just a few inches in front of them.
They both gave a relieved sigh until they looked up and saw their mother reach her hand down to pick something off of the floor. The boys looked at each other with hopeful smiles as they thought that she saw them. But then their hope faded as they saw her hand reach for the shrink ray instead. The boys tried to stop her but it was too late as she lifted it off the floor and stood up with it in front of her face.
"What's this?" Frida asked in confusion. "Ughh. I thought I told Carl to stop leaving his toys on the floor." She assumed it was just a toy and the boys were worried as their mom now had the only thing that can get them back to normal size.
"No Mama! It's not a toy!" Carl shouted but he knew there was no way his mother could hear him from down there. "Now what do we do, CJ?!"
"We've got to get Mom to see us. Let's go!" CJ said with newfound determination as he grabbed Carl's hand and ran towards Frida's giant feet. They stopped right in front of them as they realized just how big their mother's feet were compared to them. They barely even came up to half of the height of her brown flat shoes.
"Her feet are so big, we'll never get on them." Carl said. But CJ disagreed as he jumped onto Frida's shoe and gestured for Carl to do the same. He jumped onto the brown flat as CJ caught his hand and lifted both of them up to the top of Frida's left foot.
The boys then held on to Frida's skin as much as they could as they felt her start walking again. Frida then went over to the closet, which was pretty messy, and threw the shrink ray in there, much to Carl and CJ's shock.
She then made her way out of the room with her two shrunken sons still on her foot. "We're doomed, CJ! Without that shrink ray, we'll be stuck like this forever!" Carl started to panic until CJ snapped him out of it.
"No we're not, Carl. We just have to get mom to see us. Somehow." CJ pondered how they were going to get their mother's attention. However, as Frida kept walking...
