Takes Place During Tartarus Escapees Arc...

Hero Society had fallen, the villains had won. Shigaraki's new power was too great now that he held multiple quirks and could use his Decay without even touching his target. All For One had seemingly possessed Shigaraki's body and utilized him to break into Tartarus...where All for One was being held.
Every villain in Tartarus was now free, and multiple high security prisons had been attacked and those villains set free also. Civilians had lost faith in heroes in general and had started taking up arms against criminals themselves. Many heroes had hung up their capes for good.
Amidst all this, Izuku Midoriya had left U.A. He departed and left letters to all his classmates...revealing that he was All-Might's successor and the inheritor of One for All. The greenette had been working alone as a lone rogue hero for weeks now. Fending off villains and assassins who hoped to capture him and bring him to AFO. He had dark circles under his eyes, he was grimy and hadn't bathed in a long time.
Amidst it all, he had inherited multiple quirks himself from the vestiges of One for All's previous users. One of which was a quirk that allowed him to increase his height. Midoriya had not found much use for the Growth quirk yet...as he was too concerned with causing collateral damage within the cities.
Lady Nagant was sent to capture Deku. She was a former Hero Public Safety Commission hitwoman. "That organization is corrupt! It's all a facade!!" She had shouted at Deku. Explaining how the HPSC had ordered her to murder anyone who threatened the status quo, even at times simple protesters. She was imprisoned after she killed the HPSC's previous chairman.
The newfound knowledge that not only had Stain been right that not everyone who called themselves heroes was worthy of the title was bad enough. But finding out that the entire hero system had been based on a lie...Deku was questioning what was real and what was fake. His entire world that he had known since he was born had just been turned upside down.
The final straw was when All For One made his announcement. Deku and Endeavor had made their way to the location where Lady Nagant had been told to deliver Deku to AFO. The building was abandoned, but a video message of AFO addressing Deku played as soon as they entered.
"People go on about quirks, preaching the merits of individualism. But ours is a regimented society under tight control. One where the wrong sort of individuality gets you ostracized and purged."
"This root of this predates the concept of human society altogether! It's the principle that governs all social organisms. The path you've chosen is a thorny one." All for One wore a sinister grin in the recorded video. "Can you guess who was on my mind the entire time I was in jail? YOU."
"All Might no longer interests me! I've moved on from that useless oaf! Now..." AFO pointed at Deku: "YOUR TURN."
Midoriya's eyes widened in horror as the camera panned over to reveal Spinner, Toga, and Dabi surrounding none other than Inko Midoriya who was bound to a chair with duct tape over her mouth.
"Now you'll need to make a choice, hero. Turn over One For All to me...or should I say...Shigaraki. Or else..." AFO trailed off as Dabi held his blue flames close to Inko's face and began to burn her slightly.
Deku seethed. "Where?" He demanded darkly through clenched teeth.
"Why, Kamino! Where you first laid eyes upon me...and I you. Quite poetic don't you think?" AFO chuckled before the video feed was cut.
"Deku..." Endeavor and Hawks approached, but Deku rocketed off, right through the ceiling. "We have to follow him!!" Hawks yelled out.
Endeavor nodded and contacted Mt. Lady, Kamui Woods, and Edgeshot...who were all in on this whole effort against AFO.

Deku was seeing red. The horrible injuries inflicted upon Gran Torino by the powered up Shigaraki, society collapsing into chaos, heroes retiring in disgrace, the multitude of deaths, civilians turning on heroes, finding out that everything he ever believed in...was a LIE!
It was all too much, Deku may have at one point wanted to save Shigaraki from the clutches of All for One...but that was slowly evaporating into nothing..much like how Shigaraki's decay did to people.
All-Might pulled up in a car in front of Deku. "Young Midoriya! I know what's happening, Hawks informed me--!"
"Don't. Try. To. STOP ME!" Deku roared at All-Might, startling the skeletal man. "Midoriya....I know you're upset but you're not thinking clearly..you haven't rested in weeks! Surely you don't intend to just...hand over One for All...."
Deku was silent....before leaping over All-Might and his car, leaving his mentor stunned and very concerned.
=Kamino=
The possessed Shigaraki, Spinner, Dabi, Toga, and the real All for One were gathered. "There he is.~" AFO cheerfully said as they spotted the dark figure of Deku approaching.
"Where is she?" Deku demanded, standing across from the group. "Now now, manners. First...you have something I want."
Deku shook his head, "That's not what we agreed to. I need to know she's safe!"
In an instant, the possessed Shigaraki was behind him. "By the way...she's dead. That video you saw was pre-recorded. Would you like to know what her last words were?" 'Shigaraki' whispered to Deku.
At that moment, Deku felt something inside him snap. "Y-you're lying...she can't...be..." The energy of OFA crackled around him, his eyes were in shadow as 'Shigaraki' backed off slightly.
"What is this?" The possessed Shigaraki asked, the villains all felt like something had just changed.
"Ninth! Calm down! They're probably lying!" One of the OFA vestiges pleaded with Deku.
Tears were streaming from Deku's eyes as he looked up at the villains. "Doesn't matter if they are or not. I have to end this...and I will END IT. I'LL KEEP EVERYONE SAFE!"
Deku called upon the Growth quirk, and immediately the villains watched as the greenette shot up in height. His costume seemed to grow with him as he hit 50...then 70...then his growth stopped at 100ft tall.
"We should probably get outta here!" Spinner exclaimed as the villains..except both AFOs shared that sentiment.
Looking down at the villains with an expression akin to someone looking at a cockroach in their home...Deku lifted his foot and held it over them.
All For One chuckled while the other villains began to retreat. "Hah. You can't fool me! Nice bluff thou-"
That was when Izuku stepped down...for the giant it was but a simple step forward...but for Toga, Dabi and Spinner...it was their end.
The hard iron sole of Deku's boot combined with the force of the stomp rendered the League of Villain members into nothing but puddles of sticky viscera. It would be barely noticeable to Deku, as if he had just stomped on an ant or a flea.
All For One's smile vanished...it would appear he had miscalculated again.
Quickly commanding the body of Shigaraki to leap onto Deku and begin the process of stealing One for All...All for One himself stepped back to allow puppet Shigaraki to do the deed.
"After One for All is mine...I'll abandon this broken body of mine and send my consciousness into Shigaraki! You may have increased your size, but that means nothing!" All For One ranted.
"Wrong." Deku simply said in his rumbling voice. Glancing down to see puppet-Shigaraki rapidly moving up his thigh, Izuku casually prepared a One for All flick.
He waited for the right moment, which happened to be when Shigaraki jumped up in front of his face....and flicked.
Shigaraki's modified body, although it had regeneration abilities thanks to the surgery he underwent...was not invincible. As was evident when the flick reduced the pale vessel into a red mist that dissipated instantly.
All For One for the first time since his fateful battle with All-Might long ago...felt fear.  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
