You couldn't believe your luck when the agency confirmed you were going to work this week assisting none other than Brandi Rhodes. The former WWE star and one of the major African-American figures in professional wrestling was now working with her husband in her own wrestling promotion, and they were requiring some temporary workers to make a show in your city!
The position wasn't that detailed and it was one of the many you applied indiscriminately in order to get some spending money for the summer, so at first you didn't think much of it but once you saw what it entailed you started to be excited, apparently you would not only be actually meeting the wrestling star in person but would work "up close and personally" with her. The way the description of the job was worder you couldn't help but start imagining things, scenarios where Brandi noticed how effective of a worker you were and decided to take you under her wing for future events or where you somehow even struck an unlikely friendship.. As a big wrestling fan and personal admirer of Brandi's style and everything she contributed to it you were already starting to get nervous.
The day finally arrived and your legs were shaking while you took the bus towards the place that would serve as the arena for the event. You made sure that nothing would mess up this fated day setting up an alarm every 5 minutes to make sure you would wake up and wearing what you considered to be your best clothes wanting to make a good and hopefully lasting impression on the wrestling and tv star.
You were disappointed that Brandi wasn't around and that a job supervisor simply assigned you the task that you should be working about, which involved carrying some bags and clearing up the space where the wrestler would have her dressing room. According to the supervisor guy you had a couple of hours before Brandi arrived and then you would be working directly under her though, so it wasn't that bad. You eagerly started to sort out the space and retrieving the bags with her belongings, doing a double and triple check to make sure everything was perfect for her
