Not wanting to ruin his friendship with Allie, David focused and phased out of Allie's front, making sure to catch her as her unconscious body began to fall backwards. After a minute or two or prodding and shaking, Allie's eyes fluttered open and confused, she asked: "Did it work?" while reaching up to grab her head, obviously an aftereffect of taking over someone was headaches. Making sure that she could stand, David helped Allie stand up before explaining what had happened, making sure she was aware that he hadn't done anything other than look at her hands while in control. More excited for David's powers than he was, Allie smirked and began to walk out of the breakroom, shouting over her shoulder: "Have fun! I won't tell Jess!" knowing full well the seeds she had planted in David's mind.
Left standing in the Wilko breakroom, thoughts raced in David's mind, all of them pertaining to the possibilities that just opened up in front of him. Lost in thought, he didn't notice as Charlotte walked in, mentally making a note that David was deep in thought, and walked past him, grabbing a bottle of water from the vending machine, opening it and taking a swig before sitting down and wondering what exactly what David was doing. Yelling "OI!" seemed to snap him out of it, quickly looking around embarrassed before locking eyes with Charlotte and awkwardly waving, clearly embarrassed by his obliviousness. Shaking her head back and forth, Charlotte left her still-open bottle of water on the table and stood up, saying "Bathroom" in a somewhat rude way before waking out.
