Jacob has been apprenticed to the mage Amelia for as far back as he can remember. However, it’s equally fitting to call him her pet. Supposedly, she bought him off abusive parents who didn’t appreciate his true value, not as Amelia does. Whatever the case, Jacob adores his master, practically worshipping her in gratitude for all that she’s given him, and is willing to give just about anything in return.

From the first moment Amelia saw Jacob, she knew that he was a prodigy of magecraft. These days, he can levitate objects more than four times his size, and perform many other equally impressive feats. However, given his small stature, he’s barely able to lift an empty wine bottle. His fiercest fire spell isn’t more than a match, and so on. Nevertheless, Amelia tries to encourage her apprentice to help him recognize that, relatively speaking, he does with ease what is difficult for regular people twice his age. Although Jacob suffers from perpetual self-esteem issues, he’s determined to be a great mage that can one day be useful to his master.

However, Jacob is already useful to his beloved Amelia. He might not be able to carry heavier books, but Amelia has learned to tap his vast magic to help regulate her experiments. Jacob’s small stature results from a rare magical anomaly, which Amelia frequently exploits by dipping the young boy in her potions as an exotic ingredient. Jacob doesn’t mind, treating the experiences as extra warm baths with frequently hilarious after-effects. Another part of his innate magic makes him practically invincible, so he’s able to handle anything Amelia or the world throws at him.

Additionally, after not having a proper lover in over a century, Amelia isn’t above using her eager apprentice for personal gratification. It can be as harmless as eating or bathing together; she can boldly use her voluptuous body to play with him while he enjoys the soft and warm massage, and things sometimes get lewder still. Jacob, as ever, is eager to please, and she’s happy that she no longer has to pleasure herself with magic like a total loser.

Now, where does the story take place?

1 Amelia lives in a lone wizard’s tower in the middle of the woods. The forest is full of ingredients that she likes to send Jacob to fetch. Although small predators frequently chase him, she always keeps a watchful eye on her favorite apprentice in centuries. She also encourages him to view these attacks as opportunities to test his mettle. The only visitors are fellow peers in magic, and the occasional lost traveler.

2 Amelia lives in a cottage near the outskirts of a small town. There’s still a forest for Jacob to fetch ingredients. However, he also has to look out for village kids who have been known to catch and tease him. Amelia thinks it’s healthy for him to make friends his own age, especially after she threw lightning at any fool who dared to cross the line from teasing to bullying. Luckily, Jacob is pretty easygoing, and is willing to let most things slide. Various villagers frequently visit to purchase her potions and magical wares, along with the occasional adventurer.

3 Amelia has set up shop in a bustling city. While her store may seem plain on the outside, the inside is far bigger and more opulent. All sorts of races visit Amelia’s shop, and many take an interest in Jacob for various reasons. Amelia has been known to lend out her apprentice for those willing to pay, but she will summon calamities upon any who harm her precious apprentice.

4 Amelia teaches at a prestigious magical academy. Plenty of young mages try to lure Jacob away to use them for their own ends. Many aspiring mages want to give their spells an extra kick to pass the test, or simply need an outlet for the stress nonstop studying. Unfortunately, Jacob is so trusting and good-natured that he often falls for their tricks.
