In the original Gulliver’s Travels novel by Jonathan Swift, Lemuel Gulliver washes up on the shores of Lilliput, a country inhabited by tiny of the Lilliputian Royal Court and is given permission by the King of Lilliput to go around the city on condition that he must not hurt their subjects. However, the Lilliputians are weary of Gulliver's dangerous giant size, and Gulliver discovers that the Lilliputians often emphasize on trivial matters which causes rifts within the kingdom.
At some point, Gulliver assists Lilliput in their war against the rival country of similarly tiny people, Blefuscu, but Gulliver refuses to convert Blefuscu into a province for Lilliput. He is charged with treason and sentenced to be blinded, but he escapes with the help of a friend to Blefuscu where they prepare a boat for him to sail to sea where a passing ship spots him and carries him back home.
In later chapters, Gulliver washes up on the shores of Brobdingnag, a country inhabited by giants where he is cared for by the young Brobdingnagian girl, Glumdalclitch. He is later brought before the Queen of Brobdingnag, who commissions accommodations for Gulliver's tiny (to them) stature in the form of a box carried around by Glumdalclitch.
In this story route, we'll be exploring different routes based around the major size-related plot points of Gulliver's Travels. In the Lilliput route, we'll be exploring a woman sharing the Gulliver surname washed up on the Lilliputian beach but discovered by young Lilliputian boys. In the Brobdingnag route, we'll be exploring a young human boy or a Lilliputian boy who washes on the shore of Brobdingnag and is found by a girl named Glumdalclitch. In the third option, we'll be exploring a world which is a mix of the different giant/tiny/human-sized cultures from the novel.
(A/N: You can determine if the story routes takes place in the 18th century setting of the novel, or the modern-day 21st century setting.)
The only question is, which route will you choose?
