The outbreak: A strange virus that came from a secret government lab has engulfed the world. The fast acting and highly infectious pathogen is akin to what we would call a zombie virus as it turns the host into an undead shell of a man, without free will and with the spel purpace of spreading the infection through bites. With society on the verge of collapse a rag-tag group of humans have to survive in this world.
A parasitic problem: The crew onboard the research vessel Explorer has encountered a dangerous problem, after collecting samples from an unknown planet the ship has been infected with parasitic worm like creatures. The worms infect their hosts by entering on of their orafices and once inside the host they slowly turn them into a member of their Alien race. The crew in a race against time to rid the ship of the parasites before they all turn into feral aliens
