The robotic voice spurred to life again. "Please enter your favorite comic series," it buzzed.

"Do the movies count? I've never been big on the actual books," Pete said.

"I can lend you some of my non-collectables," Eugene offered. "I'm guessing you're talking about the MCU?"

"Yeah, but Aquaman was really good, I'm picking that. You nerds can choose someone like, uh, I don't know, SIlver Surfer?"

"That's not even a deep cut, babe," Judy moaned, elbowing her boyfriend, which earned a laugh from him.

Judy, Eugene, and Lindsey all converged, and after a half hour of debate, settled on a few different options.
