"Is Shanghai a twentieth century or a twenty-first century movie?" Judy asked, looking up information on the movie on her smartphone. "It came out in 2000. Is that twentieth or twenty-first century?"
"Only one way to find out what the game thinks," Eugene answered, typing in the movie's name.
It was Pete who had thrown out the movie's name, but then again, Pete had been suggesting one Western after another. Apparently, Pete's grandfather was a big Western fan and, by extension, Pete was well acquainted with the genre.
When Pete suggested Shanghai Noon, Lindsey chimed in that she'd be up for that. Wanting to keep her boyfriend happy, and having one other person besides her boyfriend who liked a particular Western, Judy backed the suggestion as well. Happy that everyone else was backing the same movie suggestion and they could start the game, Eugene made the choice of the movie unanimous.
(Eugene had only seen the movie once, late at night at his home, and had fallen asleep through the middle of the movie, but he was hoping he could fake his way through the game).
As it happened, the game knew the movie, and must have considered it twentieth century, because it intoned "Traditional or Immersive?" The four friends talked it over, and decided to play
