Eugene entered ‘OCCUPATION’ with a brush across the possibly-delicate keyboard. Peter was looking a little tetchy, and though some ironic edutainment game might be fun, it seemed good to not risk the ironic approach. Occupation seemed neat, he might come around to it!

Gene politely averted his eyes from the denim-clad rear in front of him and stammered a “S-sure.”
“Sorry, it’s just, like, soooooo cool that you have something totally old. Uh, do you know what code this is running on? C? Ada? Eiffel?”
“I, uh, don’t know,” admitted Gene as the couch-couple shared a smile. For as long as their ramshackle group of friends had been together, Judy had been gunning for the two nerds to get together. Peter generally just nodded at all of her theoretical-relationship gushing, but he secretly hoped that Geno would work up the courage to ask out the rainblonde for coffee or something.
The chubby nerd could use a boost in confidence, maybe it’d get him to the gym.

Gene took his place over the keyboard once more, taking a second before selecting…
