Dipper was still shouting up to Mabel as loudly as he could, and by this point, he was pretty much out of breath. "Down here, Mabel!" Dipper shouted. He stopped for a second to take a breather and felt like his throat dried up from all the shouting. Fortunately for him, Mabel suddenly stopped walking in her tracks and had a confused look on her face.
"Huh, that's weird. I thought I just heard Dipper," Mabel said in confusion. "Dipper. Where are you?" Mabel turned her head left and right but was still perplexed by the nonexistent sight of her twin brother. "What the? Come on Mabel! Look down here!" Dipper shouted once more, annoyed by the fact that Mabel heard his tiny voice but still didn't notice him. "Oh, come on!" he yelled in frustration.
"Ugh, fine. I guess I'll just have to use the direct approach with her." Dipper decided to stop waiting for Mabel to find him, while risking being a red stain on the sole of her shoe, and walked directly toward his towering titan of a twin. "If she can't find me down here, then I'll just have to go to her." Dipper resumed walking until he was right in front of Mabel's right foot. However, to him her shoe was as big the mystery shack itself, showing him just how tiny he was. It looked like he barely came up to Mabel's big toe, which made him feel more like a bug than a human being right now.
Even though Mabel looked like a gigantic building to him from where he was standing, Dipper still wasn't going to let that stop him from getting back to normal size. He jumped right on top of Mabel's right shoe and tried to get as tight of a grip as he could on it. Despite his 'noodle-like' arms, Dipper managed to grab the fabric of Mabel's sock as well. "That wasn't so hard," he said with confidence. "Now to start climbing. If I can just reach her ear I can definitely get Mabel to help." He took a breath for some good luck. "Here we go!" Dipper yelled, making his way to the front of Mabel's foot to start his climb up her body.
Dipper ran towards the front of Mabel's foot and began his descent up her leg with his hands gripping the sock fabric. Unfortunately for him, Mabel started walking again and made quite a ride for Dipper. "Whoa!" he yelled, trying to hold on to her leg as best as he could. "Well I'm sure it was nothing. I better go and get him myself," Mabel said, walking to the stairs to get to her and Dipper's bedroom.
Gripping Mabel's moving leg felt like one of the swinging rides at an amusement park and had Dipper scared out of his wit holding on for dear life. "Oh man. I can't wait until this is over and I'm back at my full height." Dipper said. He continued climbing up Mabel's leg until he was right inside the rim of her skirt. Knowing what was right above him, Dipper blushed a little bit and did his best not to look up. With that, he tried to swing for the skin of her leg to her skirt and managed to grab the bottom of it in time. "Yes! Almost there. Now if I can just get higher," he said as he continued climbing up the skirt to Mabel's sweater.
"At the sweater, good. Just a little further." He said with a hint of frustration as he was now holding on to the right side of Mabel's sweater, which he thought would be a much more difficult challenge than the previous obstacles.
Dipper tried to get a good grip on Mabel's sweater, but the feel of the fabric didn't make it easy for him. The tiny boy kept on climbing and felt pretty confident when he saw that he was getting closer to Mabel's shoulder. "Alright. I'm so close. Now if I can just get up there...," he said with enthusiasm.
Dipper might make it safely to Mabel's shoulder (in theory), or something might happen that keeps him from getting there (could still be good for his sake). What happens?
