Fortunately, the bubble floats closer to the girl and her Pokemon, and you start yelling at them, hoping they can save you. They don’t hear you, but eventually, the bubble comes close enough that they take notice of it. The girl gasps.
“Whoa!” she yells. “Hey, something’s in your bubble, Popplio!”
The Pokemon looks at the bubble and gasps as well. She moves closer, flopping along the ground, and gets in the path of the bubble. She gazes up at you, and seems to finally realize that the thing inside is a tiny human. Her eyes go wide, and she rears up, standing on her tail. The bubble comes closer and closer to her, and with perfect timing, she claps her flippers together around the bubble. The bubble pops, and the next instant, her flippers come together and clamp around you. They squeeze you from either side, pinning your arms and leaving only your head and shoulders free. You gasp and squirm from the tight pressure, but you’re unharmed. The Popplio remains upright, holding you in front of her face and staring at her captured tiny human in amazement.
The girl comes over and stares at you. “I-is that a doll?” she asks.
“No,” you say. The girl yelps as you speak, surprised that you’re actually a real person, but Popplio keeps her grip on you, thankfully. You continue, “I’m... I’m a real person. I got shrunk by a Mew, and then I got stuck in that bubble...” You look at Popplio and say, “Thanks for getting me out of there.”
Popplio barks happily, and brings you closer to her face. She nuzzles you with her big, round, pink nose, and you laugh. After this, she looks over at her trainer. The girl is watching you intently, and she holds out a hand with the palm facing up. Popplio carefully deposits you on her trainer’s hand, and the girl brings you up in front of her face.
“Wow... never heard of anyone shrinking before,” she says. “But I guess I should tell you my name, huh? I’m Selene. Popplio’s my starter, and I just started my Pokemon journey... how about you?”
You tell her your name, and ask if she can help you get in your apartment and reunite with your Indeedee. How does Selene react?
