You decide to try talking to this Mimikyu. You don’t know where it’s taking you or what it’s planning to do to you, so to be safe, it would be a good idea to try and get on its good side.
“Um… hello, Mimikyu,” you say. “Thank you for not hurting me. I wish I knew where you were taking me, but I’m glad you’re just carrying me instead of, you know… squishing me or something. I’m really weak and helpless right now, so you could easily hurt me. But you’re being pretty gentle with me—except for the way you’re squeezing me kind of tight. Still, that’s better than I expected from a Mimikyu. Maybe you guys aren’t so bad.”
Mimikyu stops moving and brings you over to its eye holes. It lets out a quiet, high-pitched growling sound, and somehow, you think it sounds curious, like it’s interested in hearing more.
“Y’know, I used to think Mimikyu were bad and scary, but I’ve never seen one in real life before,” you continue. “So you’re my first one. And seeing one up close like this is really interesting. Your costume looks cool, and I can see it in more detail now because I’m tiny. And these black shadowy claws… well, it’s scary how they’re wrapped around me like this, but they look cool too. You’re a good-looking Pokemon.”
Mimikyu lets out a sound like a purr. It’s happy with your compliments and kind words, and you even feel its grip on your tiny body loosen up, like a sign of its new appreciation and kindness towards you. It seems like you are getting on its good side after all.
However, the Pokemon still doesn’t release you. It continues crawling along the forest floor, carrying you deeper into the wilderness, holding you next to its body again. You try to relax in its grip, feeling confident that you’ve made some progress towards befriending this Pokemon. The next step would be convincing it to return you to the apartment so you can reunite with Indeedee. But you’re curious about where it’s taking you, so you patiently wait as it carries you along.
