You have chosen Toddlerhood. Now, which of the toddlers will be babysat?
* Ryan McHiggins, age 2.5. Ryan is a kind but cowardly toddler, fearing things such as bullies, thunder and lightning, and the rabbit who sells batteries on television. Nonetheless, if one of his friends is being hurt or threatened, he will put his cowardice aside long enough to protect them. Like many toddlers his age, Ryan still wears diapers, but is getting used to using the potty. He likes using the potty because he likes the idea of not needing his diaper changed, and longs for the day when he can wear big-boy underwear. Ryan takes after his father, Walter, in both looks and personality, but his mother, Wendy, is the one who looks after him most of the time. In his spare time, Ryan enjoys playing with toy trains and building block towers.
* Brad Hunter, age 2.5. Brad is an adventurous and hyperactive toddler whose interests include sports, video games, and sports-themed video games. Brad is a lot braver than Ryan is, and has no trouble standing up to bullies. Brad knows how to use the potty, but as a hyperactive toddler Brad does not like having to stop playing to sit on the potty, which is one of the reasons why he is still in diapers. His parents, Stephen and Ashley, also have conflicting views on potty-training Brad; Stephen wants Brad to be potty-trained to get out of changing diapers, while Ashley is considering holding Brad back until he shows interest in being potty-trained. Brad takes after Stephen in personality, but Ashley in looks.
* Alice Finklemeyer, age 2.5. Alice is a kind-hearted girl with long, blonde hair. When she first moved into the neighborhood, she won Ryan and Brad's hearts with her outer beauty and friendly personality, but the three have settled on just being really good friends for now. Like many toddlers her age, Alice still wears diapers but is getting used to using the potty. She likes using the potty because she likes not needing her diaper changed, and longs for the day when she can wear big-girl panties. Alice is agraid of spiders and will freak out when she sees one. Her favorite toy is Orville, a teddy bear she got from the Build-a-Bruin Warehouse in the mall in her old home. Her parents, Helen and Hector, run a local deli.
