"I must've had a growth spurt!" Amy thought to herself, "It's about time!"
Satisfied with this answer, Amy changed into her night gown and went to sleep, not even realizing that she still had yet to remove her necklace...
When Amy awoke, she felt very different. Her nightgown, which normally hung loose on her, felt tight around the sides, and her feet were sticking out the end of her blanket. When she stood up out of bed, she almost felt a bit of vertigo. Everything seemed a bit smaller.
Shocked, Amy ran to her mirror, which seemed to take mere moments with her stride, and gasped at how much taller she appeared. To confirm, she took her mesurements. She was now 4'2". This was no ordinary growth spurt.
