"Urgh..." You said, opening your eyes. Everything was dark. Were you dead? You remember your blaster being sliced in half and it exploding in your hand. Your body felt weird as if something was surrounding you. It didn't feel malevolent. In fact, it felt kinda soothing and nice.
"Where am I?" You question.
Right on que, light rushes in and you see a Ashoka's massive face looking down at you.
"A-Ashoka?!" You said.
"Don't panic. Just stay calm." She said, trying to keep you from freaking out.
"How... How are you so massive?" You said. So you weren't dead. It was Ashoka's hands covering your body. W-was she healing you?
"I'm actually not huge. Something caused you to shrink. And I thought I could reverse it, but all I was able to do was just heal the minor burns on your face." She said.
"You know... Just when I thought things couldn't get worst." You said, moving your hand down your face.
"Well, you're actually taking this quite well. Better than I originally thought." Ashoka smiled softly at you. "I expected you to start panicking like when you came across a destroyer droid."
"Just another thing to add to the growing list of problems ever since the Death Star. And that was a narrow corridor and that thing was firing like no tomorrow." You rebutted. "Honestly, bad news doesn't even upset me anymore." You said.
"On the bright side, and without the blaster, it's really good to see you again." She said, trying to lighten the mood. She still remembers you as that eager recruit who nearly shot yourself in the foot. Now you were like all the no nonsense clone officers.
"The only good thing perhaps" You slump down. "I know you're not a jedi anymore, but did any of the teaching or vast amount of books mention anything about this?"
"I've spent more time than I'd like to mention reading them, but not a single reference at all to what you're going through." She said, sadden.
"Worth a shot." You sighed. "So. How is this going to work? You keeping me as a prisoner, or handing me off to whatever team you're with now?"
"I do have this friend of mine who'd love to get her hands on a Imperial officer, but I'll keep you away from her. She's...not the friendly sort to Imperials." She said, still remembering how she walked in on that stormtrooper who begged her kill him. Bo really needs to lighten up a little on prisoners. Who knows what she'd do with you in her hands? Ashoka shivered at the thought of it.
"So I'm staying with you." You said not sounding particularly excited.
"No need to say it like that. I'm not going to hurt you or anything." She reassured.
"What about that baby? I thought you were looking for him."
"Doesn't mean I can't look after you, and possible find a cure." She smiled. "It'd be like old times."
"Hopefully being on opposite sides of the battle won't give you any ideas. They always ended up bad or making the situation worst."
"Wow... Being an officer made you tight. What happened to that starry eyed recruit I use to laugh at?
"If you can find that hopeful bastard, let me know. I need some of that nativity of his and yours right about now." You said, getting a chuckle from her. Despite the situation, she is right. It is good to see her again. And you couldn't ask for anyone better to be in a situation like this with. You just hope she's matured since last time you saw her. Her incessant jokes gave you numerous headaches.
"So if I'm stuck like this, I might as well try to adjust to this. What on the agenda for today?"
