"*Pant* *Pant* *Pant*" You pant hard as you waved through the grass and wood chippings. You look back to see if you're being followed. You weren't so you hid behind a tree.
"This isn't happening..... This isn't happening...." You said. This isn't how what you thought would happen. Attacking the Empire's second death star was already a dangerous plan. Taking out the shield bunker guarded by stormtroopers and AT-STs but it had to be done to take out the second Death Star. But that was nothing compared to what you're going through now.
You had taken a bolt to the side at the bunker while covering the entrance. It was nothing serious, but the burning sensation didn't stop and neither did the pain. It got so bad that you passed out.
When you came too, you were looking up at a giant stormtrooper. You were too stunned to move from the sight of trooper. What did that blaster bolt do to you? You didn't have time to wonder as the trooper looked down and saw you. You didn't know what they were thinking or even their expression, but you weren't going to stick around to find out. You quickly got up and ran as fast as you could.
And you didn't stop until now.
You collected yourself and your breathe. As you were running, you came to realize that you were shrunken as everything was bigger than you. "What did the Empire create? Shrinking technology? I knew they were advance but...." You said. If they did have this kind of tech, you shudder at the thought of what they will do with it. You've heard what they did with the first Death Star.
"I can't sit here forever. I need to find some help." You said. Just as you got up, you heard leaves crunch. You sit back down and didn't move a muscle. The crunching got closer and closer until it stopped. You listened for a minute and it was quiet. You were about to breathe in relief when a huge black boot landed right next to you. You nearly jumped out of your skin.
You look up to see it was the stormtrooper without her helmet on. And it was the same one who spotted you earlier. She actually followed you.
"I know you're here somewhere." She said. Her voice sounded like thunder to you; almost making you cover your ears. "You couldn't have gone that far. Not in your current state." She said, moving forward slowly while scanning the ground.
Iden didn't think this would happen. When her squad were given special equipment, she didn't know it would do this. When she saw the small rebel, she was just as stunned as you were when you saw her. She had watched you run off and ordered her two squadmates to clear the bunker while she keeps watch. Which was a lie so she could come after you.
"You know, this is a dangerous planet. More so at your size. Why don't you make it easier on yourself and come out? I don't bite." She said, trying to coax you. You weren't going to listen. You'd be a prisoner and you've heard some nasty things about being an imperial prisoner. It would only be worst at this size.
"Come out wherever you are. I won't kill you like the vicious animals here." She said. Iden wanted-no needed to find this rebel. A shrunken enemy completely at her mercy and doing what she says? It was something she couldn't pass up. She just has to find you in this jungle and before her squad finds out she's missing. But it's difficult looking for someone who can literally hide under a leaf. And there are way too many to look under individually. So she had to do the next best thing. Make you come to her.
"Do you really want to be out here all alone? Fighting to survive each and every second? Is that a better choice? Having to worry about not becoming food for an animal? Is that that you want?"She said, making some good points. "At least with me, you'll get to live easy and not worry about anything. Your squad is dead, your fleet is almost wiped out, and your leaders are in custody. Face it. You're all alone on a hostile planet."
You hate to admit it, but she's right. You are alone on a unknown planet and shrunken. Everyday would be just a fight to survive and who knows what's out here just waiting to prey on you. And last you heard, the space battle wasn't doing so well. She might be your only choice you have of getting out of here.
But she's an Imperial. She'd enslave you and you wouldn't be able to do anything about it. Who knows what she'll make you do. At least with the jungle, you know what to expect from it. But not her. What if she grows tired of you and kills you? What's to say she won't kill you the second you show yourself? Just because she says she won't? She could be lying through her teeth. Like Imperials always do.
After some serious consideration, you decide to.....
