“Now, as a friend of the claimant and her daughters, I expect that you will understand how difficult it must be for young Chloe to know how delicious you are and yet not be allowed to eat you. What would you like to say at this stage?” the Judge says.
As you gaze across the room at Caroline (still smiling, she winks cheekily at you) and then glance over to Chloe. The girl is all smiles. As your eyes meet, she practically jumps up and down in excitement and chirpily shouts out:
“Don’t be scared. When I eat you, I’m gonna gobble you up whole so you can see what it’s like inside my tummy!”
Chloe’s older sister, Sarah, calms the excitable girl down. Meanwhile, the judge looks to you and nods for you to speak.
“Your honour, thank you for this opportunity to talk.” you say, noting that the Judge seems pleased with your deference. You turn your attention to Caroline. “You know how much I think of you and both your lovely girls, Caroline. I’ve only ever wanted to be a friend to the three of you.”
“And yet…” the judge intercedes “...you allowed that sweet young girl to bite you, giving Chloe her first taste of a male. By this act alone, you’ve caused her a great deal of distress.”
“That’s the last thing I wanted.” you protest. “I had no idea that Chloe was going to bite me. We were playing nicely but then she just opened her mouth and bit my hand. I never meant…”
“It doesn’t matter what you meant.” the judge intercedes. “The simple fact is that you put yourself in a position where that sweet girl was able to take a bite. Being a man in a woman’s world carries huge responsibilities and, through your own carelessness, young Chloe has experienced something very few women can resist and at an age where, under normal circumstances, she wouldn’t be able to fulfill her desire to eat you.”
“I’m sorry!” you plead to the judge. Then, you turn to Caroline. “I’m so sorry Caroline! I never meant to upset Chloe!”
The judge interrupts. “Order in court!” Everybody falls quiet and the judge casts a stern eye over you. “This is a very clear cut case. There is no mitigation that could possibly excuse the distress that has obviously been caused to an innocent young girl. Whilst I am happy to accept that you never meant to upset anyone, you have been irresponsible in your actions and are entirely to blame for Chloe’s distress. Seeing how excited young Chloe is today makes this a very simple decision for me. On the charge of causing unacceptable distress to the defendant’s youngest daughter you have been found guilty. You will now be taken to the shrinking booth and reduced to an inch in height. Furthermore, it is the ruling of this court that you are hereby the legal property of young Chloe. You are hereby reclassified as food so that Chloe can eat you.”
“Yaaay!” shouts Chloe. She turns to face you, jumping up and down with excitement. “You’re going to be the yummiest dinner I’ve ever eaten!”
You’re reeling from the dawning realisation that there is nothing you can do to escape. It’s only a matter of time before you find yourself sliding down Chloe’s throat and into her tummy.
