"Man that was an slow day." Sam complained.
"You can say that again, so not looking forward to the upcoming history test." His sister Sabrina joined in as they walked back home after a long day at school.
"At least it's over now, how about another game when we get home?" Sam suggested.
"Sure, I could use the distraction." Sab said as she quickly accepted the escape from studying.
As they were walking the usual road back home, Sab noticed something on the ground ahead of them.
"What's that?" Sab said as she spotted the item.
"What's what?" Sam said not noticing anything.
"This!" Sabrina said as she picked it up from the ground.
"Think someone lost it?" Sam asked.
"Maybe, but there is no one around." Sab said seeing if anyone else was nearby.
"Let's check it out at home to see if there is a number inside." Sam suggested and his sister nodded.
Back home, Sam and Sab took the book out of Sab's bag and opened it up. It was a black book with a somewhat simple and tattered cover, but it didn't seem to be worn out, just kind of looked like it was. There was no name written on it or anything and most of it's pages were made up of a few fields to fill in but it did have a description on the introduction page, but it was brief and gave a somewhat vague description.
"This book will allow you to create binding contracts between two people. A contract is made with a condition, signature from both participants and a trait to exchange with set condition. A contract cannot be broken once made."
"Wait, traits?" Sam asks confused.
"You really don't think this book has such power right?" Sab asked back.
"Well, I don't know but it is strange we just found it." Sam remarked.
"May as well try?" Sab suggested.
"..." Sam replied.
