Chapter #6

You wash your hair, but feel something a bit odd

You began all your usual bathing habits, starting with getting your skin clean. By this point, it wasn't exactly anything noteworthy. Just you cleaning yourself as you had been doing for years. Perhaps with a little extra given how long you spent up last night just for good measure.

All the while, you tried to think of what you could do today. More gaming was always an option, though you played it to death last night. Hopefully Victoria might go out somewhere which could leave you with some relative peace. Susie did like to spend time with her friends on weekends too and Mom often did errands. Hey, maybe you'd have the house to yourself! Yeah, not likely.

In any case though, you got to the part where you washed your hair. You got your usual hair shampoo and began to wash as you often did, though something felt a little off. Was it just you or was there a little more hair to clean? It felt like you almost grab bunches full of hair. Okay, that was an exaggeration but it certainly seemed off.

"Well, it has been over a month since my last haircut," you wondered, though you were sure it wasn't like this the other day.

You combed your hands through your hair, getting the shampoo everywhere. However, something was seriously beginning to feel off, as something felt like it was tickling you. You tried getting rid of it, but when a longer stand of hair flew into your face.

"Ugh, what is going on?!" you asked no one in particular, and thus received no verbal answer.

You pulled your hair back out of your face, but you felt as if you were starting to feel something on your neck and shoulders, maybe even your back as well. To say you were confused would be a total understatement, and you were getting a little frustrated too. Grunting a bit, you tried pulling on to your hair, grabbing a lot of it as you pulled it in front of your face.

"Okay...this can't be right..." you said, finding it hard to believe what this was.

This felt like your hair, but it was much longer, far more than you ever had it before even during your longest breaks between haircuts. Also, was it just you or did it look....darker? You had brown hair which was already pretty dark, but this...almost looked raven black. Was it just the water or lighting messing with you? That wouldn't explain the hair length, You had to be imaging all of this.

And...was it just you or did your hair spell like...something herbal or whatever?

It certainly smelled a heck of a lot different, though you wouldn't call it bad or anything. Still, where was that smell coming from. You looked back at your shampoo. You honestly were so used to your formula that you must not having noticed anything odd. However, upon looking at it, you definitely noticed something off.

Particularly that what you had picked up was some brandless bottle or something. What was inside looked like shampoo and smelled like your hair did now. Was this something Mom picked up? Or maybe Victoria? God could only know what stuff she was into of late.

"Did she get the wrong one?" you asked. "But why would this not have any name on it?"

That was so weird. You could only guess there was a mix-up somehow. Still, you wondered if this was behind your hair troubles. Though that would be something if using something like this really caused hair growth. It seemed unrealistic.

You have the following choices:

*Noteb*
1. Keep on washing

2. Finish up but stay in the bathroom

*Noteb*
3. Someone knocks

*Noteb*
4. You finish and get back to your room

*Noteb*
5. Something else happens

*Noteb* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
