To Alice's surprise, her headless body which had been sitting perfectly still on the couch up until this point suddenly started moving on its own. The body raised it's hand up to it's neck, rubbing the flat stump and waving the surrounding air where her head used to be. After snapping out of the trance-like state it was in, Alice's body got down on all fours and started searching the floor for her head.
"Over here, body! I'm right here!" Alice called to her body from across the room. Surprisingly, that actually worked as Alice's body somehow heard the cries from her head. The body also seemed to have some form of sight as it actually managed to spot her head and crawl in a straight line towards it. Though it was unclear at exactly how limited it's sight really was.
Alice's body picked up her head and inspected it curiously. It rubbed her cheeks, stroked her hair and even checked her teeth by pulling her lower lip down.
"Ow! Careful! That hurt!" Alice's head complained, though really she was just glad to be reunited with her body. "So body, do you want to try reattaching me so that we can get back to normal?" Alice suggested to her body.
