It was the end of the school day and Thana was heading towards her locker to put some stuff away. She was met by her boyfriend Bryan. “Hey babe” He said while planting a quick kiss on her lips and giving her a little flower he found outside. She smiled “Aww hey baby, you’re always so sweet.” They had been dating for 2 months. “I’d love to stay and chat but I’m heading to my class meeting so I’ll see you tomorrow.” She said giving him another peck on his lips and started heading towards the classroom.
Thana is pretty popular in school she is in student government acting as Vice President for the senior class. She is well liked by almost everyone except the cheerleading captain Tracy. Tracy felt threatened by her so she constantly lashed out at her. Today was no exception. “Ugh you are so pathetic, I bet you haven’t even had sex with him miss goody two shoes. I don’t know what he sees in you.” Tracy said as she had watched the display. “Nice to see you too, Tracy, but I really can’t talk I have a biology meeting to go to.” Thana said with a genuine smile completely ignoring the jab. “Seriously? You really are pathetic.” she said as she glared at her and walked away.
Thana continued on heading to her meeting. “Our last discussion is our field trip to the biology research lab. This will be taking place tomorrow. Do we have the groups ready?” Asked Mrs. Johnson the biology teacher who had arranged this trip. Janet a good friend of Thana’s answered “Yes! Thana and I arranged the groups.” “Excellent so we will meet in front of school and split the groups in each of the buses.” Said Mrs. Johnson and ended the meeting.
