How/why does Rouge get fat?

1.) Rouge gets a strange gem that makes her ravenous. And the only thing that can satisfy her cravings are other Mobians...

2.) Rouge found out that someone she is fond of likes huge, blobby fat women.

3.) Someone tags Rouge with an appetite stimulant. Suddenly, she becomes ravenously hungry and can't get full no matter how much she eats.

4.) Rouge find a tree of fruit that makes her fatter with each bite.
