Captain Jeralt Reus Eisner had seen many strange things in his life as a warrior, but nothing could have prepared him for something like this. The re-recruited captain of the Knights of Seiros had somehow shrunken over night. If he had to guess he would say he was about 1/2 an inch in height, a mere bug.
How had this happened too him? Was he exposed to something? Or perhaps more than likely he was being targeted. It wouldn't really surprise him honestly. It wouldn't be the first time someone tried to kill him, and the monastery had a history of being infiltrated before. Even still, this was a rather... Unique way of getting rid of him.
In a normal fight he could pretty best any would be assassin out for his blood, so it made sense that his assailant would want him at a severe disadvantage. In his current state all it would take to kill him was one well misplaced stomp. But thankfully for him the halls of Garreg Mach were currently empty.
He was all alone. So that begged the question... Why was he still alive? Where was his attacker? Why haven't they revealed themselves? He was vulnerable and there were no witnesses currently. So why not snuff him out now while they could get away with it? It didn't make sense to just leave him to wonder about unless...
Oh his executioner had twisted sense of humor. They must have left him be so that any unsuspecting student or knight could crush him flat without notice. What a cowardly way to dispose of an enemy. They would rather sit and watch instead of getting their own hands dirty. How low could one get?
Well, Jeralt guessed it didn't matter now. He might as well use his secret assassin's hubris to his advantage. He needed to get noticed so he could get some help. Lady Rhea with all of the vast resources at her disposal could definitely find a cure for his condition. That is... If he got noticed.
He still had to be careful. His would be assassin could change their mind at any time and snuff him out whenever they wished. Then there were the students and knights. They could easily mistake him for a bug and crush him. That wouldn't be pleasant. He would have to be doubly cautious.
"Alright. It's time to get a move on." Jeralt told himself. It was time to get moving. There was no sense in staying stationary.
