As Byleth thought over his choices, he knew that each of his female students was an excellent option. The only thing he had a hard time deciding was which one he should go with, given how he could count on any of them. The distance was also a problem, given how far each of their rooms was from his own. Though he would have to leave his quarters, he needed to come up with a plan for how he would meet up with any of them.
If he went to the training grounds, he could probably find Ingrid, and he could hide by her stuff until she was done. Ingrid herself would help him if she saw him like this, though he hoped she wouldn’t try training with him while he was stuck at this size. Although, it’s possible that she’s not even alone, and he may be found by someone else or crushed by someone while they’re training. Not to mention, he would have to worry about anyone heading to or leaving the sauna since it’s on the way.
Mercedes was also an excellent choice given how gentle she is, but there’s an issue with trying to get to her. He told her she would be in the kitchens today, meaning he would have to walk over to the dining hall to get to her. He wasn’t sure who else was working today with Mercedes, but he could only hope they didn’t mistake him for a pest trying to eat the food. Thinking about the food caused him to shiver, realizing that if anything went wrong, he could end up being an extra bit of protein in someone’s meal.
Annette was supposed to be working in the greenhouse, which meant she was the furthest from his current location. While she’s another good option, he had to worry about being mistaken for just another bug while he was trying to get her attention, or being grabbed with some flowers or vegetables and carried somewhere else. He wasn’t even sure he could make it that far before the day ended.
He had a few options, but he still had to choose one of them to contact.
