"Well, who should I try this on then?" You asked.
Avril thought about it for a moment, pondering the options just brought up. Then, with a smirk, she looked at you.
"Well, you're the one who suggested Missy..." Avril said.
Your eyes widened, as you looked to her couch, where Missy, the white toy french poodle with the bright pink collar, tail wagging and tongue panting, looking straight at the two of you.
"Really? After the lecture you gave me, you want me to go with Missy?" You asked in a teasing way.
"Well, you know what, if this crazy remote of yours works, might as well go big, right? Well can we get on with this? If you are pranking me, I want to get this over with." Avril said, slight annoyance in her voice.
"OK, OK. We'll do Missy. Here. Come here." You said, holding out the remote. "If you touch it with me, I think you'll be immune to the time stop too."
You could tell that a part of Avril wanted to roll her eyes, but you could also tell that there was a part of Avril that was intrigued by all this. She slowly approached you and the remote, and after a moment of hesitation, brought her hands to it.
"Alright. Here we go." You said, as you pressed the button.
As before, the world around you stopped as the display for the remote popped up. As you selected Missy as your target, Avril looked on in shock as she looked around. The clocks, the cars outside the window, even Missy herself, were all frozen in place, no movement to be seen.
"Wow... this wasn't a prank..." Avril said, before looking at the remote itself, seeing you and Missy as the subjects, along with all. the options of what to swap.
"My god, there's like a million of these things!" She said, scrolling through.
"See? I wasn't lying!" You said. "See anything that interests you?"
