It had been a full year since the defeat of Ragyo Kiryuin, and changes were about to come to the certain life-fiber hybrid girl who was responsible for defeating her.
Satsuki had demolished Honnouji Academy after Rei had surrendered and everyone graduated. Now the Rending Scissors lay at the bottom of the sea.
The Mankanshokus had moved from the slums of Honno City to a new location. Though the dirt poor family now lived in a mildly better apartment instead of a shack, back alley doctor Barazo Mankanshoku still had plenty of 'patients'.
Ryuko got to stay with her best friend Mako and her crazy family. And they still enjoyed the family meals of Sukuyo's croquettes most every night. She kept in touch with Satsuki, who was now hooked up with Nonon Jakuzure.
However, things were about to change for the eighteen year old tomboy.
The life fibers within Ryuko were evolving, and her body was undergoing a rapid change. "Grrgh..." The girl groaned as she was walking home one evening after having encountered a couple street punks and beat them to a pulp.
"W-wha-!?" Ryuko yelped as the ground started to seem farther and farther away. "Damn it...one of those losers back there better not have drugged me with somethin'!" She growled, her temper flaring up.
Deciding she'd better hurry back to Mako's place, she began making her way there. Looking around, she would notice things looking quite a bit...different.
"H-Holy shit...am I gettin' bigger?!" She gasped out.
