Jasmine signed to herself as she left for the Cave of Wonders—she hated to lie to her friends, but she knew that Genie would never allow her to go by herself if he knew that was where she was really headed. For some reason, the former wishgranter was adamant that the princess did not ever visit the Cave—as if it posed some kind of danger for her. Eventually, Jasmine agreed just to get him to shut up, but now that she had an opportunity to visit the Cave of Wonders herself, she needed to take it!
After a quicker ride than she anticipated, the beautiful princess finally arrived at where Aladdin described as the sight of the Cave. Taking the two halves of the mystical scarab beetle, she pressed them together and allowed them to fly off into one of the sandy dunes, which soon turned into the massive tiger’s head she had heard so much about.
“Who has disturbed my slumber?” The Cave roared out.
“It is I, Princess Jasmine of Agrabah!” Jasmine proclaimed as she approached the Cave. “I have come to beseech you, great Cave of Wonders—Agrabah is in constant danger and needs a protector! Please… is there anything you have that I can take to protect my home and people?”
The Cave grumbled a bit as it stared down at the young Princess, as if studying her. Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, it spoke again.
