Byleth entered the Golden Deer classroom, much to his surprise everyone was there. Hilda and Claude were in a corner probably scheming something. Lysithea and Ignatz had their noses in some books. Raphael and Leonie were having an impromptu sparring session. And Lorenz was trying to cheer the ever gloomy Marianne up with some tea.
Byleth was very eager to try out his new Transferance power, but using it in a group this large seemed like a bad idea, he decided to wait until the groups were smaller. Eventually after breaking a chair Leonie and Raphael went off to the actual training grounds to train. The noise got to be too much for Ignatz and Lysithea who went to the library. Marianne ran off to the stables and Lorenz being a 'noble gentlemen' followed leaving Hilda and Claude alone with their schemes and/or gossip.
Byleth looked at the student leader of the golden deer and his usual partner in crime. Byleth had to admit, Claude was the hardest nut to crack in the house, hell maybe the entire school, and if he swapped with Claude he might be able to get some insight in how the lord thought first hand. On the other hand, what a better way to get to know Claude than to switch with Hilda, she seemed to be the only person Claude had some degree of openness with...Byleth thought. If he swapped with her perhaps the mystery of Claude would begin to unravel.
