Beast Boy said, "Make me younger? You can do that?" and the voice said, "We're about to find out!" and suddenly Beast Boy saw a bright red laser appear from a giant machine right in front of him, shooting him straight in the chest. Beast Boy yelped in surprise as he felt the ray hit him. It almost felt like it was sucking something out of him. He looked at his hand, which he could now see thanks to the light from the laser, and saw that it was getting smaller and smoother. He felt both his restraints and clothes getting looser.
The voice said, "It works even better than I thought it would! See what it's doing to you boy?" and a mirror lowered down so Beast Boy could see himself turning into a younger and younger child, soon looking like a kindergartner. Beast Boy had been staring at himself the whole time, still dumbfounded at what was going on. The man behind the voice watched Beast Boy just sit there in disbelief, wanting to see how Beast Boy would react.
