And now the time has come, the sports festival has started, and Hermann is among the enthusiastic spectators, mostly the parents of the participating youngsters and other students and friends of the participants.
Hermann is proud to see his daughter and how happy she is at cheerleading. However, he also must notice that she has her eye on one of the football players. Hermann doesn't understand much about the life of a teenage girl, but he quickly figures out that it's not just the sport or cheerleading in and of itself that Tamara and her friends are here today, delivering a perfect show.
The performances are over and actually Hermann wanted to go home with his daughter, but she and the other girls have arranged to meet football players. Hermann has to swallow but remembering how it was when he himself was young and accepting that Tamara now at 16 is no longer his very little girl, he lets her go and have her experience.
