Momo's face caught fire as she saw who was standing there in the doorway. That mop of green hair, those emerald orbs, and that freckled face. It could be none other than Class 1-A's own Izuku Midoriya. Yaoyorozu didn't know the boy very well but she id respect him. His drive and work ethic alone demanded it. But what was he doing here? Did he fallow her.
Her guess wasn't far off as Izuku did fallow her. He was one of the more observant student's in class and he instantly took notice of the pain Yaoyorozu tried to hide. He'd done so himself when he nearly broke himself doing All-Might's training plan. Because of this and his kind nature he felt compelled to check on his classmate.
The first thing that confused him was when he saw Yaoyorozu head for the roof. She was a stickler for the rules so that was the first red flag. The second came when he saw her struggling to make it up the stairs. It was clear as day to him then that she was in more pain than he thought.
Without a second thought he skipped lunch in favor of fallowing the vice rep to the roof. What he didn't expect was the sight that awaited him. Momo Yaoyorozu with an open shirt and no shoes. Just what was she doing up here? It was probably better that he didn't pursue that train of thought.
He wasn't a pervert. He wasn't Mineta. But even he couldn't turn away from the sight. That long raven hair tied in spiked ponytail, that ample chest, voluptuous figure, pretty feet. He mentally wanted to smack himself. This was just like one of those awkward moments in manga and anime where the main character walks in on an unsuspecting female. If this scenario was fallowing the same logic then...
Yaoyorozu stood up.
Izuku braced himself for pain, but it never came. Instead it was an embarrassed Yaoyorozu holding her shirt closed with a red face. He honestly wasn't expecting that.
"M-Midoriya!? T-This isn't what it looks like!" she frantically explained. Then winced in pain when trying to move. Before she knew it Izuku was in front of her, his face showing nothing but concern.
"Hey? Are you okay?" he asked.
Yaoyorozu wanted to say, yes. Act as if everything was fine. But found she couldn't. She'd been caught red handed. It made no sense to lie. With a heavy sigh she sat back down on her box. "No."
Izuku looked more worried than before. "You're in a lot of pain right now, huh?"
She couldn't hide it anymore. "Yes."
"Do you want me to take you to recovery girl?" he asked.
"No!" she almost shouted. "I-I mean that won't be necessary. It would be a waste of her quick anyhow."
Izuku was surprised by the brief outburst but chose not to comment on it. He didn't know the raven haired beauty all that well but from what he's observed she seemed to be a very calm and in control kind of person. He never heard her raise her voice at anyone except Mineta.
"Why don't you want to see recovery girl? I'm sure she wouldn't mind taking a look at you." Izuku tried to reason.
Yaoyaorzu shook her head. She couldn't go see recovery girl. She needed to look strong for the rest of Class 1-A. Going down to see the medic would do her no favors. Some people in the class actually look up to her, she couldn't let them down. Getting treatment from Recovery girl when not training was a no go.
"I can't." she whispered.
Izuku felt himself sigh. She wouldn't be persuaded by anything he said. For whatever reason, Yaoyorozu didn't want to see recovery girl and it was obvious to him that she needed to. He wanted to be a hero, and a hero saves people with a smile on their face. The two sat in silence while Izuku contemplated what his idol would do.
Then it struck him.
"Where does it hurt?"
"Huh?" was Momo's brilliant reply.
"Where does it hurt?" Izuku asked again.
Yaoyorozu didn't know where Izuku was going with this but answered non the less. "My whole body hurts actually, but my feet are killing me the most. Just walking around is hard to do."
Izuku understood. It definitely explained why she didn't have her shoes and socks on. If she allowed it, he knew one thing that might help alleviate some of the pain.
"I think I know something that might help you" Izuku stated.
Momo looked intrigued. "What do you have in mind?"
Izuku gulped before now looking nervous. "A-A massage."
