The lights from the TV flashed brighter and brighter until you couldn't see anything anymore. You rubbed your eyes as they got into focus, you stumbled forward and bumped your shin against a coffee table. "Ow, who put that there." You say then hear what sounds like a laugh track coming from the TV. Your eyes finally focus but you don't believe what you are seeing, you are on the set of Home Improvement. The couches, the coffee table, the dining table in the back and the open space kitchen right next to the living room with the door to the garage past it. You've never thought you'd get to be on this set but you've always thought it would be cool to be on it. You go over through the kitchen and go into the garage, seeing Tim Taylor's red Chevrolet Nomad parked in the center. You then look over to where the camera and audience should be but only see the garage door.
You run around the house, going up the stairs to the second floor, seeing the different bedrooms and bathrooms. You see Tim and Jill's master bedroom, Brad, Randy and Mark's bedrooms, then rush downstairs and go into the backyard where you see the iconic fence that their neighbor Wilson would peak through. You go into the living room and see that the forth wall is covered by an actual wall with a fireplace and TV there. "I'm not on the set of Home Improvement. I'm in the show." You then hear a gasp come from this invisible audience. Are people actually watching you or are you just hearing pre recorded responses because your on an old sitcom. "This is impossible, this is crazy. I must be dreaming." You pinch yourself and feel how real it is. You then look around and see a family portrait of the Taylors. You notice something is off though, each member has a suspiciously big bulge in the front of their pants. Even Jill, this must be some kind of an on set error or something.
You figured that the thing that got you here was that weird remote. You go over to the coffee table, looking at all of the different remotes there, trying to remember which one was it. You tried each one, one after the other. First was a remote for the TV, then the radio system, one for the VHS player, one for the lights, another for the sprinkler system, why does Tim Taylor have so many different remotes. You finally found your remote but it says 'low battery, charging' You hit it a couple of times until it lights up green and vibrates in your hand. You drop the remote back on the coffee table but now see a green aura around you. You then feel like everything around you is getting bigger, even your clothes are feeling looser and looser. Before you knew it, you were crawling out of your shirt completely nude and worst off, you were the size of an action figure. Everything looks so weird being so tiny, like in Antman or Honey I Shrunk the Kids. You try climbing up the couch since its fibers were easier to latch onto than the coffee table. You made the climb which was surprisingly easy. "Now what do I do?"
As if on cue you hear the front door open as Brad, Randy and Mark walk in. This is one of the earlier seasons because the kids were still young. The three were wearing baggy jeans and 90's era shirts, Brad wearing a red sweat shirt, Mark wearing a gray and maroon stripped long sleeve and Randy wearing a blue shirt with a green and red plaid button shirt over it. "Next time maybe we should play tag football instead of tackle football." Mark said as the kids toss their backpacks on the ground.
"Where's the fun in that?" Brad said as the trio head over to the couches. You notice by the look and the smell of them that they were breaking a sweat playing football at school. Their clothes were rank with sweat and mud stains, for little kids they stink like sweaty teenagers.
"Look, dad left his laundry on the ground again." Randy said as they saw your clothes and mistook them for their dads. He grabs them and tosses them into the hamper, Mark looks around the garage and upstairs.
"Hey, mom and dad aren't home." Mark said as the three Taylor kids realized they have no adults around.
"Sweet we got the whole place to ourselves. Let's get comfortable." Brad says as the kids get close to you. You aren't sure if you should ask for help now or see where this goes.
