"Oh, you're back!" Polly called out to the giant shadow as it loomed above her. "What took you so-"
But it wasn't Ellie who returned for her. Rather, someone else entirely. Taller and shapelier than Ellie, this young woman looked about fourteen or so, and no less confused than Polly was, upon finding a random tiny stranger taking a bath in the sink.
"...what the?" The teenager scorned. "Who are you?"
"Oh, umm..." Polly's voice immediately began quivering. Ellie was scary enough, and she was friendly. This girl looked anything but. "Ellie found me, a=and i had nowhere else to go, so she's looking after me I guess?"
"Huh." The older girl knelt down to meet her gaze. "And you think this is all perfectly okay? She's a kid, you're at least twice her age. She can't even take care of herself, and now you've just decided you live here? Not cool, lady."
"W-well..." Polly faltered. This wasn't going well.
