"No, this is something you need to do on your own," Sorcha replied, trying to sound firm. Mandy's crestfallen face showed she was clearly disappointed by her cousin's decision.

"Please?" Mandy whined in a desperate tone. And even though Sorcha knew her cousin wasn't shapeshifting, it still seemed Mandy's eyes grew twice their normal size.
